Award-Winning Challenge Island hit a hole in one this week after being selected by the PGA to facilitate children’s STEM workshops at the PGA Tour’s President’s Club Tournament in Charlotte, NC! Chosen from a large pool of applicants by Bank of America to deliver the STEM programming, Jill Garcia, owner of Challenge Island South Charlotte, challenged local Charlotte students to complete our STEAMtastic “Tiger’s Fairway” challenge from Superstar Island. Cheyenne Woods (Tiger’s talented niece) and Webb Simpson delivered inspirational messages to the students attending the event, encouraging boys, girls and girls of color to consider the sport of golf and to value hard work. Everyone had a ball! 🤩👏.

“Challenge Island is honored to have been selected out of a large pool of applicants by Bank of America to deliver STEM workshops at the Presidents Cup Tournament to local Charlotte students.”
