Hi, I’m Jit!

Jitendra Mistry is the Director of Challenge Island - Mississauga, a well-rounded 21st Century STEM/STEAM program that promotes the growth of social-emotional skills and overall intelligence through fun and engaging cross-curricular STEAM challenges.

Jitendra stepped back from his corporate career to support and mentor his own two kids. In doing so, he noticed that their natural curiosity and creative imagination need time, space, and encouragement to develop. With his love of science and a strong desire to give youth a foundation for success, Jitendra aims to partner with businesses, schools, camps, and a variety of community programs and leaders to bring Challenge Island to their communities. He believes kids should have the opportunity to develop and practice critical thinking and collaboration skills at their own pace both inside and outside of school.
