Hi, I’m Julie!

We are so excited to bring Challenge Island to Rockland and Northeast Bergen! Julie Termini, Director of Challenge Island Rockland/NE Bergen, was born and raised in Rockland County, where she currently resides with her husband, 2 boys and bearded dragon. With a Masters degree in Elementary Education and an additional certification in Literacy Instruction, Julie has taught K-6 students for 20 years. Julie has mentored, coached and trained teachers in classroom management, cooperative learning, literacy, STEAM education, and more. She is also a certified Yoga and Kids Yoga instructor, an avid hiker, and a lover of nature.
