Hi, I’m Shachi!

Hi, I am the owner and operator of Challenge Island in the Houston and Katy area. I have 2 beautiful girls 12 and 7 years old. I have a Masters in Special Education and have been certified in Montessori Education. When I came across Challenge Island I loved that it was a hands-on and kid-driven program. Challenge Island is based on the core essentials of STEM and STEAM but it also enhances effective oral and written communication and constant creative dialogue for solving what seems impossible. It has been a great experience bringing this program into the Houston-Katy area and we enjoy working with kids in FBISD, Texas City ISD, Cinco ranch Montessori and many more private and public schools.
