Hi, I'm Angela Elder!

Challenge Island Reno–Sparks has recently changed ownership! The program is now run by Angela Elder, M.Ed. Angela is a longtime educator with over a decade of teaching experience in Las Vegas and Reno. Angela is a also graduate of the University of Nevada, Reno. As both a teacher and a mom of two, she is passionate about creating hands-on, engaging STEAM experiences that build confidence, creativity, and teamwork. Angela is excited to continue growing Challenge Island in the Reno–Sparks community and to share her love of learning with local students and families.
