Hi, We're Dr. Prisca Rodríguez and María C. Bonet!

Owners of Challenge Island Puerto Rico

La Dra. Rodríguez se especializó en currículo e instrucción. Ha sido maestra, profesora, administradora, maestra mentor, jefe de departamento y cordinadora de programas k-12. Durante dos décadas ha enseñado en entornos tradicionales, no tradicionales, en línea, y combinados en K-12 y universidad.

Es autora de artículos de educación y ha sido oradora y presentadora internacional. Ella se esfuerza por ayudar a los estudiantes a ver su potencial y usarlo para aprender y convertirse en agentes de cambio. También se compromete con ellos de maneras que crean conciencia sobre los problemas sociales y fomentan la resolución democrática de problemas. Decidió traer el programa de Challenge Island a Puerto Rico para proveer oportunidades educativas únicas a lxs niñxs de la isla, especialmente en el área oeste.

Propietaria y Administradora

María Bonet Cruz tiene una maestría en bibliotecología de la Universidad del Sur de Florida. Durante casi dos décadas, ella ha enseñado destrezas de investigación y alfabetización en tecnología en entornos K-12 y a nivel universitario.
